Q: Who can get BTN?
A: BTN is available in up to 80 million homes nationwide on all major video providers, including cable and satellite. BTN is also widely available in Canada. The network has distribution agreements with DirecTV, DISH Network, Verizon FiOS, AT&T U-verse,
Cablevision, Charter Communications, Comcast Xfinity, Cox Communications, Insight Communications, Mediacom, Time Warner Cable, RCN, WOW!, Rogers Cable, Shaw and Shaw Direct (Canada) and about 300 additional video providers across North America.
Q: Is BTN available in all 50 states?
A: Yes, BTN is available throughout the U.S. and Canada. Fans who live outside the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean can also watch BTN football and men’s basketball telecasts live and other Big Ten television partner telecasts on-demand through www.BigTenTicket.com, an international streaming subscription service.
Q: How do I know what my BTN channel is?
A: BTN’s GameFinder feature (www.BigTenNetwork.com/GameFinder) allows you to input your zip code, identify your provider and learn your BTN channel.
Q: Which game will I get when BTN is televising two games at once?
A: You will get the game most relevant for your area. The majority of our cable, satellite and
telecommunication affiliates in the nine Big Ten States carry our “Extra Football Game Channels,” while many outside the Big Ten region are continuing to make these channels available. The decision whether to carry “Extra Football Game Channels” is made by your cable company’s local office, so we recommend that you check with your provider. Satellite (DIRECTV and DISH Network) and telecommunication providers (Verizon FiOS and AT&T U-Verse) offer all BTN games on “Extra Football Game Channels,” whether the network is airing one or three games at the same time. Our GameFinder feature is updated weekly during the football season so you can determine if your local system offers these channels and if so, where to find them in your channel lineup. If you do not get these channels, you can call your local cable office to let them know you are interested. Click to read more about Extra Football Game Channels.
Q: Can I watch BTN on my computer, my phone or my tablet?
A: BTN now offers BTN2Go, a live, 24/7 multi-platform extension of BTN that gives fans, through their cable, satellite or telco provider, the ability to watch the network live wherever they are via the internet, smartphone or tablet. Your provider must agree to carry BTN and BTN2Go in order for you to receive it. As of August 20, DIRECTV, DISH Network, Time Warner Cable and Charter will begin offering BTN2Go to its subscribers this fall. This service is launching on Sept. 1 at BTN2GO.COM, and via the iPad and iPhone several weeks later. An android version will be available early in 2012. Click to read our FAQ on www.BTN2Go.com.

Q: I live outside Nebraska. What if my cable company doesn’t carry more than one BTN channel?
A: In order to satisfy fans of all schools, the network offers all of its games to affiliates for them to place on “Extra Football Game Channels” on football Saturdays. With the additional scheduling flexibility BTN has this year, we will have fewer games on at the same time. However, if your cable company does not carry these extra channels, you may want to let them know of your interest in their doing so. Extra Football Game Channels are also available on BTN2Go.

A: BTN is available to approximately 80 million homes across the United States and Canada, and has carriage agreements with more than 300 cable operators, both large and small, both inside and outside of the Big Ten states. We have not been able to agree on business terms with every single cable operator but we continue to work to make BTN available to every home. All of the deals we have completed demonstrate that the terms are fair and reasonable, and if you haven’t already done so, you may want to consider communicating with your cable company to let them know that there is a desire for BTN programming in your area. You can also enter your zip code in GameFinder (www.bigtennetwork.com/gamefinder) to see if there are other providers in your area that carry BTN.

A: When a game is airing live on BTN, ABC or the ESPN family of networks, that network has the exclusive rights to that content.

Q: If Nebraska is playing UT-Chattanooga at 2:30pm CT on BTN and Illinois is playing Arkansas State on BTN at the same time, which game will I get?
A: If there is more than one game airing simultaneously on a football Saturday, you should go to www.bigtennetwork.com/gamefinder at mid-week to learn the BTN channel for the Nebraska game. If there is no other game airing at the same time, your game will be on the main BTN channel on your cable or satellite system.
Q: What kind of Big Ten football coverage does BTN provide other than the games?
A: On football Saturdays, BTN kicks off its coverage with a pregame show beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET, and offers halftime and post-game coverage in addition to The Final Drive, which begins after all games have ended.
